Branding | Visual Identity
Forage is a restaurant serving comfort food and fun drinks made with ingredients sourced locally and in the restaurant's greenhouse. We feature two different menus, one for spring and summer and one for fall and winter, each one featuring foods that are hearty at the time of year. Guests can pick some of the ingredients for their meal, or pick items from the greenhouse to take home and prepare their own meals.
The Challenge: Create a comprehensive brand system for Forage, centered around the values of sustainability, community, health, and locally sourced ingredients.
The brand identity centers around the food offered at the restaurant. Signage, menus, and merchandise include illustrations of foods that can be found in the dishes, and illustrations and colors vary based on the season. The advertising includes photos of the food and show the cozy, hearty feel of the restaurant.
